12|03|2011 - winter impressions with UK’s wizard of sound

Going straight towards winter time we just can't deny what excited us all on edge as we visited the European Outdoor Film Festival currently touring thorugh Germany and other parts of Europe (E.O.F.T.). Besides great (electronic) background music in many of the short films the track accompanying the over- whelming last movie "Being There" made by the ski film studio and agency Field Productions hit our attention to the most.As you know, Heavenly-hymns.de is always and in all situations looking for captivating, inspiring, creative electronic music, but what we immediately felt when watching this movie with mouths wide open was that we had just discovered a beautiful emerald out there.
Some of you ambient lovers and ski freaks as well certainly know and enjoy the fantastic music of Bristish producer Jonathan Sigsworth for quite a while now. But we just feel obliged to contribute making this great artist a little bit more known. We really strongly recommend listening to his otherworldly productions featured also in other ski and snowboard movies! Only a few tunes are fitting to landscapes and intense outdoor impressions that neatly as Sigsworth’s tunes do in that extraordinary video footage from the cold north. It almost seems as if the tunes were composed for the Lofoten (and unspoiled strips of nature in general).
To our own astonishment you can check and even download these masterpieces paying no single coin. Get enchanted! ;)
